The International Golden Trezzini Awards for Architecture and Design are proud to announce their partnership with GZ.ARCH.SCHOOL.

GZ.ARCH.SCHOOL is one of the largest online international 3D graphic schools, specializing in teaching architects, designers, and builders essential design skills. Over the past three years, the school has provided comprehensive programs to students and professionals across Russia, CIS countries, and around the world.

To date, GZ.ARCH.SCHOOL has trained over 3,500 students from construction universities and practicing professionals in design and visualization. The school's curriculum focuses on three key areas: visualization in 3ds Max + Corona, architectural design in Revit + Enscape, and architectural documentation and portfolio development using Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

«One of our key objectives with the Golden Trezzini Awards is to support and encourage architecture students,» said Pavel Chernyakov, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Golden Trezzini Awards. «We offer two special nominations for future architects: 'Best Project of Building or Facility by Student' and 'Best Project of Public Space by Student.' We anticipate that students from GZ.ARCH.SCHOOL, who will be among this year's applicants, will stand out among the winners and runners-up at the ceremony in the State Hermitage Museum. All shortlisted projects will be evaluated by an esteemed international jury, ensuring that renowned architects from around the world become familiar with the nominated students. Additionally, the winning projects will be included in the museum's collection, potentially marking the first significant milestone in their professional careers.»

«A critical element in any architecture or design student's portfolio is participation in competitions,» said Alina Bichegkueva, Grigory Abrgamyan, and Emmanuel Oteng, architects and co-founders of GZ.ARCH.SCHOOL. «Competitions provide an invaluable opportunity to objectively assess one's skills not only within the department or university but also on an international level. They are also a key motivator for advancing and refining skills, both in software and in the development of architectural concepts.»

The International Golden Trezzini Awards recognize outstanding contributions to architecture as art. Established in 2018 and named after Domenico Trezzini (1670–1734), the first architect of St. Petersburg and the creator of masterpieces such as the Peter and Paul Cathedral and the Twelve Collegia Building, the awards emphasize the motto «Architecture as Art.» The top honor is a gilded statuette of Domenico Trezzini.

Mikhail Piotrovsky, President of the Worldwide St. Petersburg Club and General Director of the State Hermitage Museum, serves as the Honorary Chairman of the International Council of the Awards. The Council and Jury consist of over 200 experts from 33 countries, including heads of leading museums in Russia and abroad, architects, designers, government officials, educators, business leaders, cultural representatives, and diplomats from countries such as the UAE, Russia, Switzerland, Turkey, Mexico, Egypt, Azerbaijan, and Syria.

A unique aspect of the Golden Trezzini Awards is its official museum status. Thanks to an agreement with the Museum of the History of St. Petersburg, which houses an extensive collection of architectural graphics from the 18th to the 21st centuries, the winning projects of the Golden Trezzini Awards are showcased annually in the «Architecture as Art» exhibition at the Peter and Paul Fortress. Following the exhibition, the winning works are added to the state museum's collection.

Since its inception, over 4,200 projects have participated in the Golden Trezzini Awards from 2018 to 2023. In 2024, the Awards Organizing Committee has already received more than 300 applications from architects, restorers, designers, decorators, set and exhibition designers, sculptors, and architecture students from over 40 countries. The Award ceremony will take place on November 15 at the State Hermitage Museum.

Applications for the Golden Trezzini Awards are open until September 15 on the official website, with participation free of charge.
