Don't Wait Until September 15: The Golden Trezzini Deadline Is Getting Close

September 15 may still look a little way off. It isn't.

The deadline for the 9th International Golden Trezzini Awards is approaching, and if you have been thinking about entering, now is the time to do it — not in the final days.

You don't need to create anything new for the competition. Simply choose your strongest project from your portfolio, created or completed between 2024 and 2026, and submit it to the award.

Why submit now? Because entering an awards competition is not only about filling out a form.

Projects submitted early have a chance to be featured on Golden Trezzini's social media and reach an international audience before the submission period even ends. The latest entries may simply arrive too late for that.

There is another reason not to wait. The People's Choice Award is decided by public voting, and every project needs time to gather votes. A last-minute submission leaves little room to tell people about your project, share it and build support around it.

And there is plenty to look forward to beyond the competition itself.

Golden Trezzini is the only international architecture and design award whose winning projects enter a state museum collection as exhibits. The award is also unusual in another very tangible way: its statuettes are made by hand by masters of the Imperial Porcelain Manufactory, established in 1744.

The jury includes around 200 experts from 35 countries. The awards ceremony will take place at the State Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg on November 20, 2026.

Participation is free.

So, if there is a project in your portfolio that you have been meaning to enter, don't leave it until September 15. Choose your best work from 2024–2026 and submit it now — while there is still time for your project to be seen, shared and voted for.

Entries are accepted until September 15, 2026, inclusive.
