Golden Trezzini heads to Uzbekistan!
The organizers of the Golden Trezzini Awards are visiting Tashkent and Bukhara to present awards to laureates of previous seasons and strengthen the professional dialogue between architects from both nations. A new record was set in 2026, with 32 project entries submitted from Uzbekistan!
At the invitation of the Union of Architects of Uzbekistan, Natalia Sidorkevich, Chair of the Board of the Worldwide St. Petersburg Club, Pavel Chernyakov, Chairman of the Golden Trezzini Organizing Committee, and Maria Borisova, Vice-Chair, will visit the republic from September 27 to October 2.
The centerpiece of the visit is the International Symposium “Architecture as Art: New Horizons of the Russian-Uzbek Dialogue,” which takes place on September 29 at the historic Abulkasym Madrassah in Tashkent. The program features expert talks, project showcases, the diploma presentation ceremony for the 2024–2025 laureates, and a special performance of SAWT (“Sound Garden”) by composer Kasym Muinov (Muinzoda).
This visit and rich agenda were made possible through the efforts of Mirodil Dzhamalov, member of the Union of Architects of Uzbekistan and expert on the Golden Trezzini Qualification Committee, along with Nigina Israilova, Zhavokhir Khalilov, and Aleksandr Fedorov.
Invaluable support has been provided by the partnering companies.
