Villa No. 13 is composed of enclosed and semi-open spaces wrapped by a perforated envelope that creates a transitional microclimate between interior and exterior. Three elevated courtyards and one internal courtyard organize the spatial experience, giving open spaces equal importance to enclosed rooms. The west courtyard forms the entrance and extends the recreational area, the east courtyard serves as a terrace and optional entrance, and the central courtyard provides privacy for the main bedroom. Together, they maximize southern daylight, capture northern views, and enhance visual and physical permeability. Independent outdoor circulation stitches the courtyards together, while the perforated envelope unifies the fragmented mass, filters light, supports climbing vegetation, and blurs the boundary between inside and outside. Over time, the villa evolves into a lush citrus-garden enclosure.
