About the project
The author had to design the tiles for the fireplace in the sitting room, a wall-mounted friso, and some ceramic inserts that would be used to decorate the furniture – and she had to do all of those by hand. Fine high-alumni clay was used to make all of the elements, and they were then painted with engobes and glazed.
