About the project
St. Petersburg has got the only airport – Pulkovo – In the south of the city. A decision was made to develop the airport and the surrounding area in the north-western part of St. Petersburg to serve citizens of remote areas. Such a building needs two main spaces – the departure and arrival lounges. That is why the concept has two pavilions covered by a large span structure. The architectural features outline the exit and entrance zones to the building, which will help passengers navigate through the new area.
