The project embodies a contemporary vision for developing Iraqi school design, specifically tailored to the needs of primary school students. It combines simplicity and tranquility in its architectural composition, while giving green spaces a prominent presence on all three levels of the building to provide a stimulating and comfortable learning environment.
The cultural dimension of the project is based on four main axes, which emanate from the two main entrances and intersect at a focal point near the site's center. At the center is a symbolic monument inspired by the idea of "saving Iraqi culture," but with a contemporary vertical configuration. Surrounding the monument are safe, shaded seating areas designed to serve as meeting points and interaction for children and teachers alike.
These four axes represent the cultural diversity of Iraq, while their convergence at the center reflects the unity and cohesion of Iraqi society. Thus, the architectural space becomes a living embodiment of the project's message: diversity in roots and unity in the direction of the future, within an educational environment that instills the values of belonging and cooperation in the souls of rising generations..
