Project
An architect’s home
Category
Best Implemented Interior Design Project for Apartment / Private House
About the project (provided by the applicant)
The architect's house serves as a creative laboratory – a space where the pursuit of optimal solutions is constant and evolving. The design of the house centers on ergonomics and functionality, which, in turn, shape its form, geometry, and proportions. The extensive use of large glazing visually extends the interior space, seamlessly integrating it with the surrounding environment.
The triangular atrium of the open plan kitchen allows for a unique dining experience, where breakfast is enjoyed at dawn and dinner at sunset. To further enhance the sense of spatial unity, consistent textures, materials, and color schemes are applied throughout the house’s interior, facades, and landscape. Micro-concrete floors on the ground level flow naturally into the exterior concrete paths, while the interior wooden textures echo the wood textures found outdoors. Interior greenery complements the landscape.
