About the project
This is the play by Jean Anouilh, in which the antique story was used as Aesopic language to tell about fighting the violence in the occupied Paris.
The scenographic solution features a system of monumental columns going up and down that keep transforming the space during the performance: the throne room, the corridors, the bunker, the endless fields… Integrated lighting and spotlights of the decorations make the setting even more dramatic.
