About the project (provided by the applicant)
This is a graduation project of a public library in a village that used to have a beautiful fruit garden near a manor house.
The key leitmotiv of this proposal is the white apple blossom. The authors wanted a literary festival to take place in the yard of the library under an apple tree in bloom on June 6, the birthday of Alexander Pushkin. The library is really unique, multifunctional with several use scenarios, and easy-to-access for all, including young and old people and visitors with disabilities. Inside, rooms of the library are smartly combined — big ones are followed by small ones, public ones are located side by side with maintenance ones, and so are noisy and quiet ones.
