About the project
The complex comprises three interconnected circles, its project inspired by the Khanty-Mansi coat of arms, featuring three snow-flakes. In the project, these three snow-flakes melted by the sun become water drops, symbolizing spring, new life, and sunny feelings. A waterpark is a man-made summer that residents of Russian north have in a rather short supply.
Natural specifics of the region, including multiple lakes, as well as small and large rivers, found their place in the architectural image of the complex, too.
