The project of a cultural and tourist complex with an oceanarium in Naryan-Mar, located on the embankment of Lake Kachgord, represents a multifunctional building that unites an oceanarium, exhibition hall, educational center, café, hotel, research facilities, winter garden, and recreation areas.
The architectural concept is based on the reimagining of an iceberg’s form, symbolizing the northern ice and marine element. The contemporary design harmoniously integrates elements of Nenets culture, featuring decorative patterns and ornaments inspired by national traditions. Large glass facades open stunning views of the surrounding landscape, creating a sense of unity with the northern environment, while also allowing visitors to enjoy the panorama of the water surface and the internal aquariums of the oceanarium.
