About the project
This modern Arctic Museum and Exhibition Center in St. Petersburg will house an exposition dedicated to the history of technical and technological development of the Arctic. The museum is necessitated by the increasing role of museums in social and economic transformations, reevaluation of the goals and objectives of the city's cultural policy, its priorities and means of achieving them. The museum should become a new symbol of the main contemporary art movements in the overall cultural environment of the city, the region and the country and a new attraction for locals and tourists alike.
