About the project
This project of the administrative premises and the hotel was designed as part of the program for transformation of a piece of the coast of the Gulf of Finland in Lakhta into a sports and cultural part. The task was to develop an infrastructure for sports and leisure along with preservation of the natural terrain and enhancement of the site’s ecological frame continuous development.
The complex is established for temporary stay of sportsmen and administrative workers – for that an unoccupied existing building is reconstructed. This place will comprise 25 suites, a restaurant, a bar, and cafeterias, as well as premises for leisure and routine procedures. At the site, there will be a swimming pool and bungalows.
The highlight of the composition is the façade, facing the park, with large-scale arches, referring to traditional architecture as much as the modern European analogues.
