Art Center in a Historic Quarter

The art center is located in Saint Petersburg within a historic neighborhood, establishing a new public space for both residents and visitors. The building features a white pyramidal volume accentuated by red structural elements and extensive curtain-wall glazing, serving as a visual landmark for the district without overpowering the surrounding historic architecture.

The project incorporates an open, landscaped public plaza with pedestrian pathways, transforming the site into an active urban destination. Inside, the facility accommodates exhibition galleries alongside studios and flexible community spaces. The architecture is built on the contrast between the restrained white volume and bold red accents, while the expansive glazing opens the interior life of the art center to the city, seamlessly integrating it into the urban fabric.
