About the project
The new Orthodox church for 500 worshippers is located not far from the historic center of Astrakhan. The building designed in traditional Orthodox style is of stately proportions and 40 meters high, being the highest facility of the district. Artistic ornamentation of the church features both classical and quite unexpected stories painted in the 16thcentury style. The church has several icon stands, the central one sophisticatedly carved.
