At the Edge Glamping at the Kardyvach Lake
Category
Best Project of Public Space by Student
About the project (provided by the applicant)
The Kardyvach Lake is one of the most picturesque and unique places of the Krasnodar Land. The greenfield glamping was inspired by the culture and history of the indigenous Turkic people, but also by the local nature.
The master layout is all about mirrors and reflections, which is paying homage to the lake’s mirror-like surface. The compositional dominant is the visit center with a public fireplace. The cabins are designed as mirror cubes, which helps with their integration into the surrounding landscape. The key objective pursued by Ms. Semenova was preservation of the unparalleled local nature and its presentation.
