Project
Atom museum and exhibition pavilion

Category
Implemented Project of Public Building or Facility

About the project (provided by the applicant)
This proposal is the winner of the open global competition for the best nuclear energy pavilion at VDNKh (Moscow). The designers didn’t want to use literal associations with atoms and/or nuclear energy. They decided that the new pavilion had to be innovative, which included breaking stereotypes and being open to all the new things. Their project presents the pavilion that isn’t a memorial to an atom model but a curious and inspiring venue, a place for creative thinking.
