Project
Prismatic bathhouse in Lokh Village

Nomination
Best Project of Public Space by a Student

About the project
The building of the bathhouse brings together a whole lot of the characteristic features of the beautiful village of Lokh, such as distinctive pitched roofs and an abundance of wooden surfaces. The house’s design is inspired by the shape of a mill funnel, which was used in the preserved local mill. The wooden facades’ layout refers to the frames of old huts. The goal of the project was to create a private space around the bathhouse with a view of the river and Karaulnaya mountain. Therefore, and house is located off beaten paths hiding from prying eyes behind dense foliage.
