The urban landscape park project encompasses the space surrounding the abandoned BDV winery in the town of Alboraya, Valencia province, Spain. The historic Vinival wine cellars are located near the beach, amidst the agricultural fields of La Huerta.
The park features dedicated zones for various activities: relaxation areas, an interactive sensory path, a playground, and play equipment. An open-air amphitheater has been created, and a stage installed adjacent to the central plaza provides a venue for concerts, festivals, and celebrations.
The park design accounts for Valencia's specific weather conditions: shaded areas were created, green space was expanded, and water features along with air humidifiers were added—all working together to make the environment more comfortable on hot days.
The winery has been repurposed into a cultural and leisure center, which, together with the urban park grounds, forms a cohesive public space where history meets modernity.
