Project Ecofarm Beekeeping: Complex of Public and Production Spaces
Best Project of Public Space by Student
About the project (provided by the applicant) The project combines private and public spaces to create a modern farm that integrates seamlessly into the natural context. It includes the farmer’s house, a technical building for beekeepers, educational and excursion zones, and two pavilions at the entrance: a tasting pavilion and a retail pavilion. The complex is organized around the idea of dialogue between humans and nature: architectural forms echo the smoothness of the terrain, and concrete and glass are combined with stone and wood, emphasizing material honesty and durability.
The public areas engage visitors in the production process and the culture of beekeeping, while the residential and technical functions provide a sustainable foundation for farm life. The concept reflects principles of environmental friendliness, climate adaptation, and sustainable technologies, making the project an example of a modern approach to rural development.
Applicant Research interests focus on combining historical context with contemporary spatial solutions, balancing cultural heritage, human scale, and innovative forms in architecture and urbanism.
