About the project (provided by the applicant)
The mission of this culture center is to make sure that citizens are interested in the Tatar culture. Original Tatar traditions are fading and losing their identity, and the author wants to preserve the customs and traditions followed by different Tatar enclaves in their indigenous form.
The problem is that younger generations aren’t willing to follow their parents’ traditions, and yet they are ready to reconsider them and use them to make something new. That’s why the second objective of this proposal is to offer them a platform for further evolution of the Tatar people.
