About the project
There was a walking trail towards the Shchuchye Lake on the site, and the author designed the school to keep this path, as well as to keep most of the trees in the middle of the landplot. This wood will be a place for the students to rest and play, but is also a barrier between the children’s and teachers’ campuses, and the school building. The school is quite monumental, but the campuses are more of curved and split-level, so that they almost dissolve in the natural environment.
