About the project
Following the accurate layout since the Petrine times, development of the Vasilievsky Isle has been taking place in various eras. This project implies recovery of the urban landscape, damaged by later intrusions. The new building comprises two volumes, different in height. The lower four-storey part faces Bolshoy Prospect, and the higher part stands along to 20th Line.
Facades overlooking the prospect feature Neoclassical solutions. The building along 20th Line is divided into 4 sections, each with a recognizable style: Classicism, Minimalism, Constructivism and Modern.
