About the project
The framework of the building is glassfibre reinforced concrete with soil-resistant finishing, ensuring the building remains snow-white. Spheres made of special membrane get hot air and get off the ground, releasing it and spreading light all around them. The project comprises an exhibition and art spaces, a retail zone, a café, a SPA center, and children playground. The highlight of the retail zone is an aquarium embedded into the floor leading to the SPA center. The heart of Borealis is the palm tree that doesn’t just show the way to a sight-seeing platform, but also cools and humidifies the interior air.
