Category
Best Implemented Interior Design Project for Public Space
About the project (provided by the applicant)
The house of Borodkin is a manor built in 1861 in the historic part of the old Siberian town — Eniseisk. Listed by the state as a cultural memorial, it is part of the Eniseisk museum reserve.
In 2023, the building was rearranged to become a museum hotel. The designers restored the interiors typical for a manor dating back to the late 19th through the early 20th century. In particular, they designed furniture, chose vintage items, restored wallpaper design and floors. The hotel will house 12 suites, each of them dedicated to a real historic figure from Eniseisk.
