Best Implemented Restoration Project
About the project
Design and execution of corporate offices for a Mexican company of international stature. The project was carried out on a colonial mansion (1761), located in the first square of the historic center of the city of Querétaro. Although the historical and cultural value of the property could have meant difficulties for the work of the architecture office, it turned preservation and adaptation into the guiding objectives. Thus, the house, organized around an interior patio and a rear garden, with wide, high and ventilated spaces, was adapted to the needs of a corporate venue, highlighting, extending and adapting, detail by detail, the vestiges of its history.
Landscape, interior design, lighting and architecture, were carried out hand in hand with the work of restoration experts, which meant revealing the old beauty of the house and proposing elements and solutions that, on the one hand, would update the style while respecting its historical features and, on the other, they will adapt it.
