About the project
Casa Macaúba is a conversion point in which Architecture, art and nature can always find ways to respectfully intersect with one another. In this project, the mountains and native vegetation become, in the same way nature did for classics artists, a huge source of inspiration. The concept of this house is derived from the space in which is part of, seeking to Interfere as little as possible with the terrain and preserve native trees.
The vegetation was intimately connected to the house, through the creation of slabs that embrace them, while integrating horizontally with the internal and external areas. By doing that, unique spaces for contemplation were created, avoiding noises or barriers in the local landscape. In that way, Casa Macaúba and its surroundings will constantly change each other, while a simple experience of walking around the house frames the natural artistic spectacle that the place offers.
