Best Implemented Project of Private Residence
About the project
n an ascending site, previously mutilated and terraced, located on the Monte Alto hill in Valle de Bravo, State of Mexico, the project of this residence for two brothers and their families was developed. To inhabit the slope, the project was developed through the superposition/juxtaposition of platforms that complete the topography of the hill and recover the native vegetation of the temperate coniferous undergrowth that is increasingly being destroyed in the area. An open staircase, but covered by planters, accompanies the volumes that house the 6 bedrooms of the house, built in striated block and apparent concrete mixed with the earth recovered from the excavations, resulting in the warm color of all the spaces. .
