About the project
The first Russian retrospective of the works by Cecil Beaton, the remarkable British photographer from the 20th century. He knew how to reveal the brightest sides of a human nature, and did it in his own unique way. The architects united two most successful and fruitful periods of Sir Beaton’s career (photographs of the British Royal family and key celebrities of that time) in the central installation covered by a glass bead curtain. Behind the gleaming curtain, a much more laconic exhibition space features a black and white palette with dusty rose highlights that finely outlines the pictures.
