The “Chain Reaction” project demonstrates the application of an algorithm developed by the author for structuring the creation of information carriers in an exhibition space.
Graphic and environmental design tools are used as a means of communication with visitors in an exhibition where the object on display does not have a physical form.
The space is divided into three zones: positive, neutral, and negative radiation influence. Expressive design techniques program the visitor’s perception of each zone. Particularly notable are the long “foreshadowing” corridor, preparing visitors for the disaster hall, and the hall dedicated to acute radiation sickness, where broken tiles metaphorically represent damaged cells of the body.
