About the Project
Master’s thesis: renovation project for one of the quarters in the New Cheryomushki District. The idea is to turn the block of ill-conceived Soviet buildings into a development with distinct boundaries. The existing residential area will feature two large new community centres – a theatre and a shopping mall with a rooftop pocket garden. The project complies with the principles of strict architectural ensemble.

Aesthetically, the author of the project aims to reimagine New Cheryomushki without Khrushchev’s housing – what the district could have been.
