About the project (provided by the applicant)
The project unveils an iconic residential development in Lusail City, Doha, Qatar, featuring three towers totalling 78 stories and a four-story podium. Situated by the marina, it offers stunning sea views. Towers of varying heights and orientations ensure panoramic vistas from one to three-bedroom apartments with terraces. Inspired by Arabian Gulf coral reefs, the design merges aesthetics with sustainability. The outer skin serves ventilation, privacy, and solar heat reduction. It mimics coral reefs' natural ventilation, cutting energy use. With a 3-star GSAS rating, the project prioritizes sustainability, incorporating semi-public roof gardens for insulation and leisure. The design's nod to coral reefs honour the local context and underscores the link between architecture and nature, aiming for a resilient environment that enhances well-being while minimizing ecological impact.
