Situated along the shores of the Gulf of Finland amid a coastal pine forest, the building unfolds toward the horizon—not in opposition to the landscape, but as a seamless extension of it. Three wings fan out from a shared central core, converging in a glazed foyer that offers an unobstructed line of sight to the sea.
A folded roof of COR-TEN steel, touched by a patinated rust tone, echoes the rhythm of the pine canopy and the hue of maritime pines at sunset—rising organically from the terrain rather than imposing upon it. Massive walls of board-formed textured concrete stand like weathered stone: heavy, grounded, and silent.
This is an architecture of pause between the forest and the water: a threshold beneath an overhanging roof where one remains poised between the pine woods on one side and the infinite expanse of water on the other. An open-air amphitheater amplifies the natural site's intrinsic potential, creating a stage oriented toward the horizon.
