This is a scientific research of the recently appeared museum typology. A hub museum is not very common both in Russia and across the globe. It is a cultural tourist center that implements different functions. The designed facility houses the Volga Museum located in the central district of Rybinsk. Moreover, the proposal includes the typological structure for further development of hub museum projects. A hub museum can promote growth and development of a town, its economic evolution, help with social and demographic projects, as well as enrich its architectural and urban environment.
