About the project (provided by the applicant):
Kosmozero is an old abandoned village in Karelia where typical Trans-Onega houses dating back to the 19th century can still be found.
The mission of this project is preservation and development of the Russian culture through readjustment of old buildings to up-to-date use. The author did a comprehensive research of the local architectural traditions to make sure that it will be possible to integrate other abandoned Karelian villages into the project on a later stage of development.
