Project
Fisherman's House

Nomination
Best Constructed Private Residence

About the project
The house’s design is defined by its lakeside location and steep terrain. It was conceived as a dialogue between architecture and landscape. The house perfectly blends into the surrounding countryside thanks to its multi-layer façade made up of wooden slats and glass. The combination of horizontal and vertical lines makes the building look dynamic. Panoramic windows let in lots of light, and the wooden blinds protect the residents from prying eyes. The minimalist style of the interior is highlighted by the spaciousness of the house.
