Project
House at the outskirts of Moscow

Nomination
Best Project of Private Residence

About the project
This onestorey house for permanent residence stands ashore of a picturesque lake. The double pitched roof of its central block repeats simplicity of the rural landscape. The facades are mainly clad with white ceramic granite, and rough stone slabs contrasting on fragile glass pieces are embedded into the façade, making the place resemble a restored architectural memorial. Drop of planes and contrasting textures make the house functional and moderate. The neutral pallet of finishing materials accordant with nature harmoniously collaborates with the environment. Through panoramic glazing, the house gets full of warm sunrays.
