About the project (provided by the applicant):
This proposal was designed for Tavertet Cliff Edge Hotel contest.
As the area of the site is limited, the hotel is located both in the horizontal and vertical planes, two its parts connected with sightseeing platforms. The suites are located in both sections, and in the vertical one they have access to open terraces. In terms of architecture, the hotel is integrated into its natural environment, and in terms of construction and utilities the designers focused on natural locally made materials and renewable energy sources. The design pinnacle is the elevator inspired by the silhouette of the flooded San Roma de Sau church.
