About the project
According to modern scientific understanding, most of the Universe consists of emptiness. An analogy can be drawn with this project — most of the house consists of natural, free local materials.
The house is based on a combination of technologies: an earth-sheltered house, improved earthbag construction technology, and a lightweight frame-based roof.
The improved Earthbag technology involves filling large bags (dimensionally stable big bags) with a mini excavator — this is tens or hundreds of times faster than filling small bags by hand.
Polypropylene bags decompose underground over hundreds of years. In this case, this is an advantage.
The house's frame-based roof — similar to modular buildings, with a window for natural lighting — is analogous to modern yurts.
Thus, it is a quickly erected, safe, durable house with minimal construction costs, air conditioning, sound insulation, and facade and roof maintenance, made from environmentally friendly materials.
