The project demonstrates a fundamentally new approach to the design of zoological parks. The primary goal of the complex is to create the most natural and comfortable environment for elephants using the principles of biophilic design. Architecture here does not dominate nature but rather becomes its organic extension.
The central pavilion building is designed as a multi-level terrace. Due to extensive vertical greening of the facades and an accessible green roof, the structure visually dissolves into the surrounding forest.
The abundance of vegetation on the roof and walls not only creates an aesthetic appearance but also provides natural thermoregulation inside the pavilion, which is critically important for housing large, heat-loving animals.
