About the project (provided by the applicant) This house is the physical embodiment of the inner world of its client, a metallurgical engineer who spent his life among the noise of machines and utilitarian factory architecture. The project is his personal manifesto, where smooth forms are combined with a traditional hipped roof to reveal important aspects of the human soul. In this design, elements of postmodernism oppose the industrial environment: rounded load-bearing structures, an oval entrance opening, and a soft niche for a built-in barbecue.
The philosophy of the project is the hidden voice of the soul. The rounded capitals atop the columns are personal elements, similar to an architectural order, born from a craving for smooth and rounded forms that bring peace and comfort so essential for quiet family evenings. The appearance of the house answers the question of what the home of a person who finds joy in simple everyday things might look like. This is a case when architecture reflects an inner world — one that leaves room for emotions, experiences, and the pursuit of simplicity and clarity in everything.
