Ethnopark of Saint Petersburg

Best Project of Public Space by Student
About the project (provided by the applicant)
The project presents the concept of the cultural, educational, and sports entertainment center «Ethnopark of Saint Petersburg»—a multifunctional venue for hosting cultural and sports events organized by national communities.
The main idea is to move away from the common format of ethnoparks as clusters of national courtyards on a single site and instead create a modern infrastructure facility for year-round exhibitions and events. The cultural center, congress hall, and festival grounds will provide an accessible and convenient space for folk festivals, cultural events, and other national celebrations, addressing the limitations and availability of many theaters and cultural venues in the city. Additionally, the recreational area with exhibition spaces will serve as a place for relaxation and cultural exchange, offering a rotating year-round exhibition showcasing the diverse cultures represented in Saint Petersburg.
