About the project
The idea was to design a stone-inspired project, which can be build wherever you want. This house tends to create harmony and balance for the habitats. The purpose of this project is to enable people to live in some of the most extraordinary environments our planet has. Using lightweight and recyclable materials such as plastic or cork and innovative materials such as Cortex Concrete (concrete in rolls), a sustainable modular home has been created. All parts are packed inside one unit, which makes it easy to carry everywhere.
Initially, three smaller cubes are extracted from the big one, to accommodate the functions of the house. The inspiration for the house where the stones then oval shapes were created by using the proportions of the golden section. Then the modules are rotated 90° vertically to allow opening on both sides, and then some modules are rotated 90° horizontally to create a more dynamic architecture that also enables 360-degree views. Build your home, wherever you want!
