About the Project
The authors of the project aimed to avoid monotony of regular urban development, which is often the case with residential settlements. For that end, despite the fact that the site is shaped as a rectangle, the buildings form an arc. Thus, they have better positions and there is no direct window-to-window visibility between the neighboring blocks. Fellini Hotel employs architectural features of Mediterranean resorts – pitched tile roofs, picturesque landscape and medium-sized scale of development. The oval ring road unites groups of townhouses and 5-storeyed buildings into a single complex. The color scheme is monochromatic, which resembles black and white cinematography. Among the materials used on the facades are light stucco, noble-grey wood, and dark ceramic granite. The townhouses feature wooden pergolas on the roofs and natural dark grey ceramic tiles.
The total area of the complex is 17,600 m2.
The number of townhouses is 44.
