About the project (provided by the applicant):
The key objective of this proposal is recreation of the academic and educational environment in Kola Peninsula.
For that, the author designed a state-of-the-art museum to be located in the ex biological station. The exhibition starts from the basics and tells about the Arctic science in general, and then proceeds to more specific areas of focus. Inspired with industrial photoplates and glass slides, the interior design of the museum resembles a research laboratory with lots of interactive exhibits.
The museum is adjoined with a new research and development center.
