Futurist

A 130 sq.m apartment in the Futurist residential complex featuring direct terrace access and views of the Levashovsky Bread Factory—home to the Masters school office, owned by the apartment's owner, Polina Bondareva.

The layout fell into place seamlessly thanks to the space’s innate logic. The open-plan kitchen and living room occupy a sunlit hall with six windows overlooking Bolshaya Zelenina Street and the iconic Levashovsky Bread Factory, which has transformed into a vibrant Saint Petersburg cultural center following a large-scale redevelopment. The master bedroom, bathroom, and walk-in closet are nestled in a more private zone, while the husband's study overlooks a serene, well-kept courtyard.

The challenge was to curate a residence for an active couple who travel extensively, split their time between two cities, read prolifically, and are passionate about contemporary art.
