About the Applicant
The State Academic Maly Theatre is one of the oldest drama companies in Russia. 2026/2027 is the 271st season at the Maly Theatre. The Maly possesses its own unique acting school; acting traditions are passed down here from generation to generation. Today the Maly is not only fidelity to the classics, but also the expansion of repertoire boundaries, the search for new authors, laboratories for directors, actors and playwrights, and cultural and educational programmes for children and the younger generation of spectators.
