About the project
The garbage recycling plant stands close to Saratov and offers an alternative to the existing waste management solutions. The first facility of the plant is the sorting center with two further zones — the dirty area for charging and procession, and the clean one where recycled waste is used to make new goods. Facades are designed from perforated aluminum panels with backlighting of different colors to facilitate easier navigation throughout the site. There will be a store where repaired household waste will be sold. Visitors will be able to take a tour around the plant and then walk in a park that adjoins the clean zone.
