The gate was built in 2023 and has become a part of the overall development concept for the Monastery.
The Gate of Sarov is the pearl of one of the most famous Russian monasteries. Its architecture is the business card of Diveevo, and every day thousands of pilgrims walk through it. The project is a science-based combination of academic and art traditions with state-of-the-art methods of modelling and design. The author is positive that detailed research and recovery of the lost traditions based on today’s technologies can reveal new vectors for architectural development in the future.
